It has taken quite a bit of time, patience and sacrifices that no normal human being can take to be able to realize the idea of having a film done in Dholuo but with a global appeal. Nothing comes easy, and more so a good thing.
Mos kode! A Film in Dholuo is as a result of the coming together of like minded, focused and youthful practitioners of the Arts in the beautiful Film City of Nairobi. For the first time, Kenya is set to appreciate a Film done in Dholuo but with subtitles in order to reach every Kenyan keen on promoting the budding Kenyan Film Industry.
The Film is a reflection of real life as the the theme is one that touches on the social fabric, the family.
Synopsis
With greater need for a life she never had, MAMA, (Joan Arigi) a single mother of two forces her younger daughter, EUNICE (Hyline Kenya) to be married to CHARLES, (Rading Collins), a rich man who can supply to her unending demands but the story turns from laughter and enjoyment to grief as EUNICE finds out CHARLES makes his money through dark magic.
